With plenty of blackberry aromas, plus toasty notes, this smells like it comes from a much fancier appellation. The balance of ripeness and velvety tannins on the palate confirms that impression. Best from 2020 on.
Pair this with red meats from the grill, braises and ragouts, and of course, lamb chops. This wine is drinking beautifully now; however, you’ll also enjoy it over the next couple of years as this wine continues to develop nicely in the bottle.

If you’re a fan of the Alberto Conti Toscana, you’ll love their Montepulciano. It’s made in the same soft and generous style and features a nice balance of fruit and earth.
In your glass, it’s all about nicely lifted, earthy, cherry fruit. It’s towards the medium body as Montepulciano goes so that you can enjoy this with pasta, pizza, chops, burgers, and it will also sneak by with grilled firm-fleshed fish like tuna and salmon. It’s just an excellent all-around red to have on hand for the porch, patio, pizza, and pasta!
