Shelton Vineyards Blanc de Blancs Brut – Refreshing sparkler perfect as an apéritif
Shelton Vineyards Madison Lee White; Yadkin Valley, NC – dry, but nicely fruited white. A delicious blend of several varieties.
2012 Shelton Vineyards Riesling; Yadkin Valley, NC – Off-dry and a customer favorite. Fruit bowl aromas and flavors perfect for a late summer picnic.
Red Wines to taste:
Shelton Vineyards Madison Lee Red; Yadkin Valley, NC – medium-bodied and very approachable with ripe berry fruit as well as a hint of vanilla and spice on the fruit-filled finish.
2011 Shelton Vineyards Cabernet Franc; Yadkin Valley, NC – Fragrant, less tannic than Cabernet Sauvignon, this shows how well this variety is suited for NC.
