First Tasting of Fall – Free Saturday Tasting – Saturday, September 28th., 2013 – 1 to 4pm

Join Anne Kaufmann for this informative tasting of new wines and vintages from some of our favorite  producers. The organically grown, bright and fruit-forward 2012 Gavi with its limey- pineapple edged fruit is the perfect refresher on a beautiful early fall day. The 2013 DMZ Cabernet Sauvignon rosé from S. Africa is a beauty and one of the first wines of the new vintage. It is filled with blackcurrant aromas and flavors and begs to come along on a fall picnic! The 2011 Honoro Vera is dark and intense, with delicious, medium-bodied, dark cherry, plum, and cassis fruit, perfect for grilled pork,  or a delicious grilled rib-eye. If this is what Merlot from Spain tastes like – “bring it on” we say! The Andeluna Cabernet brings aromas of blackberry, blueberry, and dark cherry highlighted by gentle oak notes. Generous and round on the palate this is classic full-bodied Cabernet from high altitude vineyards in Mendoza.  Join us to taste, learn, enjoy and save at our Free Saturday Tastings!
