Louis Latour 2010 White & Red Burgundy Tasting – Thursday, May 9th., 2013 – 7:00 pm Asheville Wine Market Cellar – Sorry this event is sold out

2010 was a difficult but  very high quality vintage  for the Burgundy region of France, so it is with great pleasure that we offer this unique glimpse into the range of expressions of two of the world’s finest grape varieties – Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. These balanced wines are truly reference points for lovers of these grape varieties which are often copied but never really equaled. We will be guided throughout the evening by Jean-Charles Thomas, winemaker for Louis Latour as he tastes us through this fabulous lineup of “terroir” driven wines! The minerality, present on the palate, is typical of the Burgundy “terroir” and the long finish on these elegantly rich wines leaves one with a sensation of fulfillment.
