New Southern French Arrivals – Free Saturday Tasting – Saturday, October 5th., 2013 – 1 to 4pm

Join the AWM Staff  for this informative tasting of new wines and vintages from some of our favorite  producers based in the south of France. The organically grown, bright and fruit-forward 2012 Domaine Martin CDR blanc with its white peach/apricot edged fruit is the perfect refresher on a beautiful early fall day. The 2011 Gournier Chardonnay offers ripe orchard fruit aromas and flavors with a nice dollop of French oak – perfect for five o-clock guests! The 2010 Ramières CDR rouge  is dark and intense, with spicy, medium-bodied, dark berry, plum, and cassis fruit, perfect for grilled pork,  or a delicious grilled rib-eye. The classic 2010 Syrah from Domaine Saint Antoine is brawny, full-bodied and bursting with dark red and black fruits as well as classic Rhône spice box character allowing it to pair seamlessly with grilled meat dishes.
