2011 Sunday Mountain Sauvignon Blanc; Marlborough, New Zealand
A lovely example of the New Zealand style, this wine provides the herbal aromas and flavors you’d expect from a dry Sauvignon Blanc blended with the grapefruit/citrus juiciness, subtle pear nuances and spice highlights. The persistent, lively, slightly mineral finish completes this picture of Marlborough excellence. Great with fresh salads, goat cheeses, shellfish and fin fish. 2010 Valentin Fleur Vouvray; Vouvray, France
Valentin Fleur has fashioned a delicious, easygoing, off-dry 2010 Vouvray that offers outstanding value. It displays beautiful floral aromas as well as a white peach and mineral-flavored character. This lively, medium-bodied wine has excellent richness, flavors, and balance with just enough sweetness to round out the acidity. Ideal as an aperitif and great with Asian cuisine and very nice with blue cheeses. Drink it over the next 2-3 years.

2010 Casal Garcia Vinho Tinto; Portugal
This wine exhibits a youthful color, which is fairly deep with a beautiful ruby rim. On the nose, it is intense, young and fruity, with some floral hints from the Touriga Nacional as well as nice body from the Tinta Roriz. Made from local varieties, on the palate it’s fresh, round, medium-bodied, delicate and easy to drink. The finish is smooth and offers a fruity mouth feel. Try this with pasta, risotto, grilled fowl or sausages

2010 Domaine des Soulié “Cuvée Remy”; VDP Monts de la Grage
A beautiful blend of 80% Cinsault and 20% Syrah, this hails from the rugged hinterlands near the more famous appellation of Saint Chinian. This bistro- styled red offers lots of juicy, engaging fruit that offers a riot of red and black fruit notes. Framing these easy to drink and like flavors is a lovely spice component adding subtle brown spice as well as herbal notes to the party. This is a great medium-bodied red ideal for a picnic affair and or the many grilled foods of summer. Organically grown, this continues the string of high quality values arriving from the south of France.
